Savignyplatz was constructed between 1895 and 1896 as the last station to be added to the Stadtbahn. The main entrance is on the Schlüterstrasse, while a smaller entrance is near to Savignyplatz itself. The station was modified architecturally in 1934 and has since been modernised several times and retains only some of its original character.

Zone

Savignyplatz is in VBB fare zone A.
