Hallesches Tor (Station)

Hallesches Tor is an interchange station on U-Bahn lines U1 and U6.

Hallesches Tor consists of two separate stations linked by an underground passage. The U1 platforms are constructed on a viaduct partly overhanging the Landwehrkanal and are part of Berlin's first U-Bahn line. The U6 platforms are underground and are located some distance to the north of the U1 station, due to the need for the line to descend beneath the Landwehrkanal.
