Märkisches Museum

The Märkisches Museum is Berlin's main city museum. Located a little off the main tourist path, it's a red-brick neo-gothic building constructed between 1899 and 1904, and opened in 1988.

If you're visiting, don't forget to check out Berlin's city bears in the bear pit next to the museum!
