Due to maintenance work between Wittenbergplatz and Gleisdreieck, U-Bahn line U1 is being split into two parts from today until December 21. During this period the station Kurfürstenstraße will be closed.

Passengers should use the parallel U2 between Wittenbergplatz and Gleisdreieck; for Kurfürstenstraße (not to be confused with Kurfürstendamm!) use Bülowstraße (Station)|]Bülowstraße], which is around 200 metres away.

To provide extra capacity the U3, which normally terminates at Nollendorfplatz (Station)|]Nollendorfplatz], will be extended to Spittelmarkt every day except Sundays until around 7pm.
