Straßenbahnhof Niederschönhausen

Not a museum as such, but one for transport enthusiasts: Straßenbahnhoff Niederschönhausen, a former tram depot in the northern district of Pankow is home to a group of dedicated volunteers who restore and maintain historical trams and buses, as well as running tours with these old-timer vehicles.

Unfortunately the depot is not usually open to the public. There are however approximately monthly guided tours; see this web page (in German, but dates and times are listed) for further details.

A picture of the depot giving an idea of the vehicles kept there can be seen here.
