Bahnhof Berlin-Alexanderplatz

Alexanderplatz Station in Berlin
The S-Bahn / regional train station
Alexanderplatz is a major interchange station for S-Bahn, U-Bahn and regional trains in Berlin's eastern city centre.

Fare Zone

Alexanderplatz is in VBB fare zone A.

Alexanderplatz has a small ticket office (Reisezentrum). Tickets for the S-Bahn and regional tickets can also be purchased at the S-Bahn ticket window next to the exchange bureau (Wechselstube). Luggage lockers (Schließfächer) are available next to the main ticket office.

There is a wide selection of shops, cafes and snack stands within the station, most of which are also open on Sundays. There is a pharmacy (chemist, Apotheke) and in the basement a branch of drug store Rossmann. For a wider selection of stores, particularly outside standard opening hours, Friedrichstraße or Ostbahnhof are a better choice.
