Start > Shopping > Tauentzienstrasse

Tauentzienstrasse is the eastwards continuation of western Berlin's main shopping street, the Ku'damm. It links Breitscheidplatz with Wittenbergplatz and is home to some of Berlin's largest department stores including KaDeWe and Peek & Cloppenburg. It is actually busier than the Ku'damm due to the number of shops concentrated along its comparatively short length.

Access and Transport

Tauentzienstrasse has U-Bahn stations at both ends: in the west, near Breitscheidplatz, there is Kurfürstendamm (U1, U9); on the eastern end near KaDeWe there's Wittenbergplatz (U1, U2, U3 ). Buses include M19, M29 and M46.
