Voltastraße (Station)

Voltastraße is a U-Bahn station on Berlin's U-Bahn line U8.

History

Voltastraße was originally constructed between 1914 and 1915, but due to delays in the construction of the U8 due to the First World War and the subsequent economic problems, was not opened until April 18, 1930. Between 1961 and 1989 it was the first station on the northern section of the U8 in West Berlin.
