Heinrich-Heine-Straße (Station)Heinrich-Heine-Straße is a U-Bahn station on Berlin's U-Bahn line U8. Fare ZoneHeinrich-Heine-Straße is in VBB fare zone A. HistoryHeinrich-Heine-Straße was opened on April 6, 1928 as the temporary northern terminus of the U8's first section between here and Leinestraße (Station). On April 18, 1930 the northern section of the U8 as far as Berlin-Gesundbrunnen was opened. Originally the station was called Neanderstraße. It was renamed to Heinrich-Heine-Straße on August 31, 1960. Between 1961 and 1989 it became one of the so-called Ghost Stations. It was reopened on July 1, 1990. Route Information
