Gleisdreieck (Station)Gleisdreieck is an interchange U-Bahn station on Berlin's U-Bahn network connecting the lines U1 and U2. The name "Gleisdreieck" literally means "track triangle", which derives from the triangular junction originally at this location. Following a serious accident and in conjunction with the development of the section of the U1 via Kurfürstenstraße, an interchange station in the shape of a cross; the remains of the original junction (which were in use for some time for stock transfer) can be seen on the eastern side of the station. Gleisdreieck was also one end of the short lived M-Bahn. Convenient forFare ZoneGleisdreieck is in VBB fare zone A. Route Information
