Schönhauser Allee Arcaden

Schönhauser Allee Arcaden, Berlin The Schönhauser Allee Arcaden is a shopping center / shopping mall in in Berlin's Prenzlauer Berg district. Opened in 1997, it is built around and above the Schönhauser Allee S-Bahn station and forms the focal point of the Schönhauser Allee, Berlin's fifth-busiest shopping street.

It is one of the smaller shopping centers to have been built in recent years, but offers the usual range of shops and stores. It has a branch of bookstore Thalia (formerly Kieperts) which stocks a small selection of English and other foreign-language books, and is handy if you ever need the complete works of Bill Bryson or Dan Brown. English and other foreign language magazines and newspapers are available in the magazine section at the other end of the store.
