Summer in Berlin - Open Air City

Summer in the city - in Berlin that means fun, and there's something for every taste. Take a refreshing drink at a beergarden or a beach bar, or go for a swim in one of the city's many bathing beaches (clothing optional). After dark take in a movie at an open-air cinema. Beach Bars

Berlin may not have much in the way of actual sea, but it's full of sand and has miles of river banks - what better excuse for a beach bar (Strandbar)? They're open from the end of April / beginning of May and are great alternatives to the traditional beergardens.
